With over 10 years of salon experience, helping people has always been Dena’s calling in life. She has a way of carrying the weight of everyone around her with willingness and grace, and dedicates the salon’s success to her family and the fantastic women who work there.
Whether it’s Dena’s ability to make a simple conversation feel like a therapy session, the fact that she radiates positivity, or that knowing her is believing in her, Salt & Light Hair Co. wouldn’t be the same without her.

It’s All About “Looking Good, Feeling Good”
Kristina is a true Florida girl and has extensive experience in service based industries like healthcare. Her decision to join the hair care industry in 2019 came from observing the happiness her friends had in their careers. She wakes up every day passionate about her job!

Nicole’s interest in hair started from a young age, when she would try to get her mom to pay her for a luxury “hair brush”. After trying out a job in the corporate world, she decided to get a job with real benefits; coworkers like family and clients-turned-friends.
“You know when the Starbucks barista makes your coffee juuust right? I want to give my clients that kind of happiness.”

Chey started considering a career in hair when her hairdresser of many years inspired her to take the leap! She is also a licensed cosmetologist. When Chey isn’t working, she’s riding and loves spending time with horses.

Jenn has always had a passion for doing hair and making people feel beautiful. She loves everything hair, from a simple color to the brightest blonde and everything in between. She specializes in dimensional brunettes, blondes, lived in looks and invisible bead extensions. As much as she loves doing hair she also loves the connections and friendships she makes with her guests. She is always pursuing education especially in an industry that is always evolving. If she’s not behind the chair you can find her at the beach, working out, reading a book or spending time with her husband and son

“When you sit down, and look at yourself in a salon mirror, what do you see? If you work in the beauty industry, it’s very common to see beautiful women with good hearts come in, sit down, and start to pick themselves apart.
When the long-time dream of opening a salon literally fell into my lap, I thought a lot about my experiences in the past, and how I wanted my clients to feel walking into Salt & Light Hair Co. I realized that getting your hair done wasn’t just colors and cutting, it was connected to our self confidence and worth.
Salt & Light Hair Co. is a place for all of us to learn to be kinder to ourselves, pick ourselves up, and feel beautiful in every aspect of our lives. It of course reflects the beach town we live in, but also explains the type of people we strive to be every day. We want to be reasonable, grounded and humble, while bringing goodness to the world and making our client’s day brighter.”
